The Life of Pi
“The Life of Pi” is a great movie, and has won best motion picture in this year’s Oscars. The story as enchanting as the beautiful visuals, and is bound to keep you wondering what would happen next. The movie also comes in 3D effects, and its strong visual effects, just drag you right into the story. The director, Ang Lee, did a wonderful job on creating this tricky film. This movie is not recommended for young children because of the scary scenes.
Movie Synopsis
Piscine Patel tells his life-changing adventure of what happened when he was only 16 years of age, when his family decided to move out of their zoo in Africa, and move to Canada. The cargo ship, on which they were sailing upon, had tragically sunk, and Pi was the only survivor. On the lifeboat, he finds himself accompanied by a zebra, hyena, a female orangutan, and a 450 pound aggressive Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, who Pi later befriends him. When Pi tells this story to the Maritime department, no one believes him. As a result, Pi decides to tell the story, but from a slightly different angle.
