Oz the Great and Powerful is a great prequel to the well-known classic, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.” This animated movie helps complete the story, and shows how the Wizard in the “Wizard of Oz”, movie came to be, showing what happened before Dorothy came in. This movie, is intense, and has a darker edge to it. Some scenes may be a bit frightening to young children. I recommend this movie for older families.
